For small-batch makers

The part of making that isn’t making.

Formulas, materials, batches and the numbers behind them — together, so you know what a product actually costs to make, what is running low, and which recipe you made last.

Built for people making soap, skincare, candles and fragrance in batches small enough that a spreadsheet almost works.

One honest view

The room, in numbers.

No wall of charts. The things that need attention are ranked, explained, and tied back to the records you entered.

Today’s plan

Thursday, August 27

3 things first
01

Make

Cedar batch 024

Formula v3 · 48 bars

02

Buy

Olive oil

9 days of cover · 12 L

03

Ship

Three open orders

Oldest order · 2 days

What it does

Six things, built around how a workshop actually runs.

01

Formulas that remember

Build by percentage or weight, lock a version, and every batch records exactly what it ran. Change the formula later; your batch history stays true. A lye calculator for cold and hot process soap is built in.

Percentage · Weight · NaOH · KOH

02

Costs that follow the material

Enter what you paid and the cost carries through the formula, the batch, and the finished unit. When a supplier raises a price, you see the margin move before the next run.

Material → Batch → Unit

03

Inventory you can trust

Count materials and finished goods where they actually sit. Walk away from a stocktake and resume it later, with a record of what changed and why.

Lots · Locations · Stocktakes

04

Purchasing that learns

Lead times come from how long each supplier really takes. The reorder queue tells you what to buy before you run out and removes anything already on an open purchase order.

Lead time · Days of cover

05

Orders from your store

Shopify orders arrive with the stock they consume already accounted for. Track fulfillment, backorders, and the true landed cost of each order.

Shopify · Fulfillment · Backorders

06

A plan for the day

One screen reads your own numbers and says what to do first — the batch, the purchase, the shipment. Every recommendation shows its working, so you can disagree.

Your numbers. Your decision.

Your formulas stay yours

The years you put into a formula belong to you.

You keep every right to your recipes and records. Monos claims no ownership of what you put in your workspace.

One workspace’s data is never used to train or populate another. Workspaces are isolated at the database level, and that isolation is tested on every code change.

What it is, and what it isn’t

A clear record. A better decision. Not a safety assessment.

This is a recordkeeping and decision-support tool. It is not regulatory clearance and it is not a substitute for a cosmetic chemist.

Saponification values and other reference data are a starting point. Verify them against your own supplier’s certificate of analysis before formulating.
